[edit] MEDIC GUIDE

Hey buddy you're really fucking important. You're going to be immensely more important once ace2 is released, but you're still goddamn important. While everyone right now can deliver first aid, that doesn't heal you up completely. This is why people run around yelling ARGH and WELP in chat and can't aim for shit because their arms are broken. You as a medic can fix them to be as good as new and that's way more critical than people think, because if people can't aim worth shit that can easily cost you the mission as the next firefight might mean the entire fireteam is wiped out.

These are the golden guidelines of being a medic:

1. Don't you fucking die. You need to be alive to be any good, your primary function is to heal others which means you do not ever put yourself at unnessecary risk of death. Always stay behind cover, don't be one of the first couple of dudes at the front. Don't even drag injured people out of the risk area, get someone else to do it for you. (Or pop a smoke grenade if you can't get someone else to do it, which is very handy for this)

2. From here on out all medics should set themselves up as channel commander. Right now the chain of asking for a medic goes injured dude->fireteam leader->fireteam leader with medic->medic. With you having channel command it goes injured dude->fireteam leader->medic. You'll be surprised how much faster and how much less miscommunication will happen this way. However you are not a fireteam leader so don't talk on command chat unless someone is specifically talking to you.

3. If there's a mass amount of injuries expected around an area, set up an aid station. This basically means that you either take the initiative (and tell the fireteam leaders about it) to do it or one of the fireteam leaders asks you to do it. An aid station is simply that you hunker down somewhere close to the front but completely safe (even from stray grenades), mark AID STATION on the map and let people go to you/get dragged/carried for medical attention.
